Miniature Monday: General Matisse, Overlords Warlord

Can it be? It is! Another Miniature Monday and (gasp) it’s a finished model! This weekend I finished painting General Matisse, a model from Reaper Miniatures‘ Warlord line. The sharp eyed among you may remember seeing him in my ebook Heroic Scale where he looked largely similar, but I’ve learned some new techniques in the two years since I last painted him and I wanted to see where I could improve.

I’m especially happy with how the metallics turned out. That shine looks amazing! (to me, anyway)
